iPhone 12 Pro Max to iPhone 14 Pro Max?

Hi all, just wondered about your opinions whether an upgrade from 12 pro Max to 14 pro Max is worth it or not. Also wondering if I should use the trade in in the Apple Store or sell my current iPhone 12 Pro Max privately on eBay or something?

I did it. Main reason though was because Verizon gave me $800 to trade in a cracked Xr. I did that and gave my son my 12 Pro Max.

So far, I’m definitely pleased, with the pro motion display, the camera, and the brightness.

If you really want the 14 PM then just sell the current phone privately. Trading in through Apple isn't worth it unless you have inflated value from carrier deals.

I did it just because I wanted the 120hz display and the macro mode. The dynamic island is really cool, too.

I did it mainly for the promotion display. Was planning to keep my 12 pro max for another year but I used someone’s 13 pro and wondered why everything moved a lot smoother. Found out about the 120hz and decided I would sell my 12 and upgrade when the 14 pro max came out. Haven’t regretted it.
