Ever since I updated to iOS 16 (update 16.1.1 is on the docket) randomly for seemingly for no real reason, I’ll out of nowhere hear this Bluetooth disconnecting noise. It’s a “blee boo” type sound. I have nothing but my Apple Watch connected to my phone so there absolutely isn’t something connected to it that is becoming disconnected. I let my watch die days ago and didn’t charge it but the noise would still happen. I would say it happens every other day or so.

Anyone else hear this or have an answer? Feel free to talk nerdy to me if needed, I’m a programmer, Apple Certified, and a repair technician for my day job haha. Thanks, y’all!

No no you don’t need to be I was very excited to see your post because I was questioning my sanity

It sounds like the recording sound to me but I don’t mess with Bluetooth much.

Yes!! It does sound like that, but like….with the chime noises switched, the first one is higher and the second one is lower.

I'm guessing you're accidentally triggering dictation somehow? e.g., if you tap the mic icon on the keyboard then cancel it, does it sound like that?

No, it isn’t that sound it’s just like that sound.

If you reversed the tones (as in, the off tone was first and the on tone was second) that’s similar to what I hear.
