The reality of screen protector is that it will crack even in situations where original screen won’t crack. It’s all myth, protector or no protector it’s all same.

And if it cracks (or scratches) you replace it and boom no more crack. THAT is the reality.

The only reason I decided to use a screen protector on my phone is that my screen gets scratched to high hell and I'm trying to prevent damage on the actual screen and replace a screen protector for $3

Yep this is the only reason for them - just get the cheapest that doesn’t reduce the screen use too much

Exactly. I can drop my phone and screen protector shatters but the same drop and the original glass on the screen would have no issue
