Try renewing your DHCP lease in your WiFi connection menu.

If that doesn’t work, or you don’t have the option, make sure your DNS is properly functioning.

I have a new router from Att coming actually as mine won’t stay connected to internet. So I’m thinking you must be right

RespectYarn t1_iy412qi wrote

Yes, this basically an expected security certificates data being replaced by data coming from your router. Presumably a page to tell you your Internet isn't working

Wtf is DHCP going to solve?

1

Uncomman_good t1_iy458uq wrote

If your DHCP is not setting correctly then neither will the DNS server settings. Therefore, there will be domain errors.

cyberentomology t1_iy45xq2 wrote

This is not a domain or DNS error. This is just a self-signed SSL certificate from the CPE management page.

Well, thank you for educating me. Next time, try leading with that instead of being a dick.

If you’re on public WiFi - Don’t.

Probably okay on your own WiFi.

Definitely DO NOT if you’re on cellular.

Goto settings,VPN and device management, and you will see configuration and profile or something like that at the bottom.

I'm ngl it just kinda looks like a bug. Still remove it tho.

cyberentomology t1_iy3z61n wrote

Given the name, this is most likely the default self-signed SSL certificate for the admin page on the ISP’s gateway device.

This would have ended up in your certificate store if you used your iPhone to connect to the management page and clicked through the security warning and on “visit this website”.

This doesn’t affect anything else.
