I don't have Apple Care on it. Several months ago I got a screen replacement after cracking my screen from a non-Apple store so it being non-Apple, it caused my Tru-Tone to go away (oh well, I don't notice a huuuuuge difference from that, and everything else works). I am wondering if I can have my battery replaced at an Apple store, paying the full price, without them going "Oh it looks like you have a non-Apple display" and deciding I'm not allowed to do it -? I don't think so since I am not trying to use a warranty and would just be paying full price. But I guess I want to be sure before I go and find out there's an issue (closest Apple store is at mall an hour away).
( Also, if they won't do it, where else can I get my battery replaced?)

We don’t work for Apple, so there’s no way that anyone here can say more than, “try and find out.”
