AOD is only on the 14 Pro models.

So…go trade up to a 14 Pro or Pro Max.

Apple Watch.

Not only will you not care about AOD, you also won’t care that your iphone is in vibrate 100% of the time.

Older phones don’t have the variable refresh rate for display so AOD would eat the battery too much - same thing newer Apple Watches got to have their own AOD feature

It’s a hardware based feature so that’s why it’s not available. If you want it you’d need the 14 Pro or Max.
