Hi everybody, I’ve downloaded 16.2 in hopes of getting the always on display, but it is nowhere to be found. I’ve got the 11 pro. Any ideas?

AOD is only on the 14 Pro models.

So…go trade up to a 14 Pro or Pro Max.

Apple Watch.

Not only will you not care about AOD, you also won’t care that your iphone is in vibrate 100% of the time.

Older phones don’t have the variable refresh rate for display so AOD would eat the battery too much - same thing newer Apple Watches got to have their own AOD feature

It’s a hardware based feature so that’s why it’s not available. If you want it you’d need the 14 Pro or Max.
