It is in a protective cover but it landed on the screen first which broke screen protector after getting it changed from a local shop found these lines

called the service center just to get an estimate for a screen replacement which they quoted 210 bucks for a 3 year old device 😕

No, I just changed the screen protector from the local shop it wasn’t visible before behind the broken tempered glass. Display it self doesn’t have a physical surface damage but i think it got damaged from the inside

That’s expensive for a LCD screen, i’m pretty sure you cand find a screen online for less than 100 dollars and fix it by yourself :)

Lets just hope it doesn’t spread much more than what it already is . Not bothering much right now but i think im gonna invest in a refurbished oem screen if it spreads

If it doesn’t impair your usability, don’t bother fixing it. I know a guy who had a bunch of those brightly colored lines through his iPhone X screen and he kept it.
