I was thinking the exact same thing. I stopped reading the post when I saw that hahaha
I was thinking like my whole life, sorry my mistake
cool. i am on the other side of the spectrum. im starting to feel it's time to leave apple's garden. what made you change it?
I was using one phone over 3 years (Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro) and i tought its time for upgrade. So i said f it lets try something new
Nothing, smartphones are made to be user friendly, just use it
Put your Android prototype onto eBay, maybe you can earn money for buying several iPhone 14 Pro Max.
🤓
You need to know everything we answered people who asked that question yesterday, two days ago, three days ago, etc.
Search. There’s a same question every day.
OK sorry papi
Shazam has a free 4 months of Apple Music, you can set reminders for every day at a certain time, holding down on space bar moves the cursor wherever in text, you have to click the box above words for it to not autocorrect, at least that’s most of the important stuff I found when I switched. (2 months ago)
Thanks alot buddy
Also check your phone for if reduce white point is on. It makes all the whites darker and harder to see in the sun. I saw some people on Reddit complaining about their phones not being as bright in iOS 16 and that was it. I got a used 13 pro and I doubt it’s on for 14s.
And preserve settings for camera in settings. If you have it off the camera ratio will change back to the default every time you reopen it and you would have to readjust it.
First thing I did when I got the phone was watch a bunch of YouTube videos of settings to change in iOS 16 to find what I wanted to change. There’s a lot of privacy settings and background refresh kills battery.
You were on android 4 years before it released in 2008?!
Another one 🤓🤓🤓
Your the one that said you were on android for 18 years when it’s only been available for 14 since it released in 2008.
I've been exploring myself , as I'm in the same boat as you. trust me I'm irked by some of the stuff missing in iOS when compared to Android.
something you can try
12 Pro a good phone to start with
Glad to hear that, choice was not easy tbh
Breeze through the settings once and you’re up and running. Easy peasy
You’re going to miss Android keyboards…
Tbh im im love with iPhone keyboard with that satysfying sound and haptic vibrations
The only thing I dislike about the native keyboard is the missing number row.

Start with a fresh mindset. Don’t expect iOS to work/do stuff as Android - it simply won’t. There will be things that will annoy you - can’t be helped - deal with it or switch back.
It’s like moving from Windows to Linux. Basic stuff will work but not with the same optics or haptics.

I’m cherry picking here. But how could you have been using android devices for 18 years? The first device (htc g1) was released in 2008, 14 years ago. Even iPhone is not that long (15 years old)
