I've been exploring myself , as I'm in the same boat as you. trust me I'm irked by some of the stuff missing in iOS when compared to Android.

1. use of shortcuts
2. Apple has a good ecosystem if you're using multiple iOS products like watch and match etc, like clipboard copy , airdrop to name some.
3. asking apps not to track option is brilliant in ios

I’m cherry picking here. But how could you have been using android devices for 18 years? The first device (htc g1) was released in 2008, 14 years ago. Even iPhone is not that long (15 years old)

Start with a fresh mindset. Don’t expect iOS to work/do stuff as Android - it simply won’t. There will be things that will annoy you - can’t be helped - deal with it or switch back.

It’s like moving from Windows to Linux. Basic stuff will work but not with the same optics or haptics.

You need to know everything we answered people who asked that question yesterday, two days ago, three days ago, etc.

Shazam has a free 4 months of Apple Music, you can set reminders for every day at a certain time, holding down on space bar moves the cursor wherever in text, you have to click the box above words for it to not autocorrect, at least that’s most of the important stuff I found when I switched. Also check your phone for if reduce white point is on. It makes all the whites darker and harder to see in the sun. I saw some people on Reddit complaining about their phones not being as bright in iOS 16 and that was it. I got a used 13 pro and I doubt it’s on for 14s.

And preserve settings for camera in settings. If you have it off the camera ratio will change back to the default every time you reopen it and you would have to readjust it.

First thing I did when I got the phone was watch a bunch of YouTube videos of settings to change in iOS 16 to find what I wanted to change. There’s a lot of privacy settings and background refresh kills battery.
