What kind of message are you attempting to send? SMS? Make sure you’re sending to a number not the email alias some messaging services use

Lol ya the messaging between iPhone and android is not always the best. You should then, probably will be an annoyance, but take off iMessage and use regular texting sms. The bubble should go from blue to green. That will send

It does but it doesn’t always work right away. So if I need it to get out fast and for sure i toggle imesssge off then turn it back on when done. Definitely an inconvenience

Providers often say it takes 4 hours to port everything over but I’ve known it take up to a day. If there are still problems after 6 hours, sometimes turning the phone off completely and back on again to reregister on the network can help too.

I had this issue with Verizon for MMS messages. I had to call tier 2 support and have them re-provision my line to allow for SMS/MMS and that did the trick.

Go into Settings, Messages, switch on Send as SMS. Otherwise you will never be able to send to and Android phone.
