Bro that’s a perfect situation for a non emergency. They may even have a key to the restaurant to get in or know the owner personally, depending on the community. I honestly would do it myself if I was in his situation

You must live in a tiny ass town or something. If I was to call my line I’d get laughed at and instantly hung up on. The police should not be doing anything for anyone in this situation. The non emergency number is for things like newly formed potholes or to report the guy you just saw run a red light, they’re not personal problem solvers.

Google search the city (zip code of restaurant) the restaurant is police department there should be a number with a local area code call that
