For people who got theirs around launch and use it completely naked no screen protector or case, how’s the screens coating? Any server scratches? Making a final decision tonight

Been using iPhone 13 mini naked from first day, screen is fine and touching is smooth.

I run naked. My 12 had only a small ding on the casing and minor scratching. My 14 pro max’s screen had significant scratches within days. Not sure if bad luck, but I have a screen protector on it now.

Took mine off after 2 months or so, couldn't be happier. Phone looks better and you get used to the case-less feeling. They're durable enough now that I don't have to worry about major damage, but I do take some precautions like not putting anything else in my pocket alongside my phone and being careful when placing it down.

Just make sure you have AppleCare.

I used to not run cases or screen protectors, and my last iPhone had like shit load of scratches on it from regular use , I don’t put it with anything in my pocket and always clean my pocket , also the oleophobic coating on the screen is completely gone and finger prints are horrible now they don’t get wiped away easily , I recommend going caseless but the screen protector no , if you replace your phone every year or two then fine go without it but if you are like me and upgrade when the phone isn’t doing what you want then I don’t recommend it as when the coating wears off it’s a horrible experience and smudges and fingerprints seem to be stuck on their for ever
