To be fair, it IS possible. Just because some iPhone fanboy says it's not, doesn't make it so. Unlikely, but possible.

It indeed is possible, but it's extremely hard, because iPhone's have 2 different "buckets". 1 for third party files and one for system files. Which makes it really hard to influence something in the system files bucket. iPhones with iOS 16 have something you can enable called "lockdown mode", which completely locks off the system files "bucket" from everything, making it impossible to get hacked.
