I cannot believe it but I am not impressed with the 14. It is not as good at voice messages. The screen is so big there’s nowhere to rest your thumbs. And the battery takes forever to charge compared to my 8. Hopefully just growing pains but has anyone else noticed this?

Well, the iPhone 14 Plus has about double the battery capacity than the iPhone 8 Plus.

4323 mAh against 2691 mAh. You might want to use a 20W charger.

If you are having slow charging then you are using the wrong charger and cable. And also the battery sizes are not the same

I’ve never rested my thumbs on the screen I have a 14 pro max without these issues

Same chargers as before. All certified etc. but perhaps I’ve been piecemeal in the charge. Thanks for the tip

The battery capacity of the new phone is larger than the old.

Get a cheap 20W Anker ac adapter and use the cord that came with your 14. You’ll notice a big difference. The adapter can be gotten off of Amazon for like $12 or so.

That’s the problem, old bricks only hold 10W the IPhone 14+ can do 20W charging.

Charge it overnight and it'll last you all day. Use the pinkie shelf to hold it.
