Maybe. Just maybe, you should clean your charging port on your phone and then report back.

Do it carefully with a thin enough object. For example something like a needle, to scratch out the dirt in there, which isn’t allowing the plug to go deep enough to make proper contact.

Yup, that’s what solved it for me in the recent past. Toothpicks are good to use. Usually find a tuft of lint and hair in there…and then find there’s more.

This has never happened to me. Either you have a defective charging cable or your charging port of your phone needs to be cleaned

Only one cheap quality cable did this years ago. Never had another cable since that didn’t work both ways.

I've only ever had this happen with 3rd party cables, never the original cables.
