iPhone 14PM doesn’t wake up on the first “tap to wake”…

Hello everyone,

I have notice that my iPhone 14 PM doesn’t wake up on the first “tap to wake” and I already tried everything!

Throughout the day, 20-30% of the time when I tap on it he doesn’t turn on the screen, only when I tap again is when he wakes up…

I heard that this could be a software issue once I got no screen problems at all using it beside this feature.

Did already a factory reset, turn off/on the tap to wake and force restart right after, report to Apple and nothing solve this issue so far!

Does anybody else have kinda the same issue with is 14P/14PM?

But it seems to be a known issue for at least the last two months! Have you guys reported the situation as well?

I have not. It doesn’t happen often to my phone so I just brushed it off. Thought I was the only one having the issue honestly. I think I’ve been experiencing this since 16.2.

I’ve had this issue as well on my 14 Pro. I have to tap it a few times for it to wake or just use the power button. It’s probably a software issue they haven’t fixed yet.

It probably varies. I haven’t experienced most bugs people been having on my 14 Pro.

it's iOS 16, people complained about this on older phones as well after upgrading downgrading to iOS 16
