Turns out it’s completely random and happens when those keys are changing colours via an animation effect, but an error stops the code from being fully executed causing the incomplete colours.
That’s what I believe atleast.

No idea and maybe it’s totally unrelated, but my CarPlay does this. Sometimes one of the buttons is blue. Super random and it’s not always the same button, but once it’s blue it stays blue for the entirety of that drive.

That is what it does for cars without touchscreens. You probably have a knob that is used for switching radio channels (not the volume knob). If you bump it, it will highlight selections blue as you spin it. Kind of like using the tab key instead of a mouse.

I’ve noticed this happening and I found it weird. I definitely noticed this some of the apps but now when I’ve come across this thread I’m only seeing this on kik app. I was checking this online but couldn’t really find anything regarding this. I thought this was due to an update.
