Hi can someone tell me please how to remove preloaded wallpapers that are ugly and unnecessary? I have 14 pro Max updated and the only wallpaper I like really drains the battery so I don't want any of them. Someone please tell me how to remove the unnecessary childish wallpapers please? I called Apple they're closed of course because I call after work when I have free time and they're closed even though, they say we're open 24/7 etc etc I just was hoping someone could help me get rid of stuff on my phone that I don't need at all. Thank you in advance, much appreciated Happy New Year to all who read this.

Do you mean out of the wallpaper library?

U can delete them pretty easily by just swiping up while holding the wallpaper, then u will see a red bin icon

Yes and thank you, those are for the screensavers I have tried. But the ones that are emojis and colors that I would never choose I don't see a way to delete them and I've tried the same method. Is there another way? Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you, I appreciate your help. I know that they are pre-installed I just want them gone. I noticed there are a lot of things on the phone taking up space that I don't need. I'm trying to dispose of all the bloatware to me and things that I don't use before I back up and sync storage. I'm not finding it user-friendly yet. So would you say there is not a way to remove the pre-installed screensavers or wallpapers? And thank you so much for answering me because I don't want to keep looking it up if there's not a way to manage it.

I'm new to iPhone, so I'm not exactly sure but when you are in lock screen and you press and hold to customize there are all of these preloaded screens that I would never want to look at, how do I remove all of those please? Thank you

You can find nice high quality picture at unsplash.com for free, I'm currently on the hunt for a nice wallpaper for my new iphone as well 😁

I have thousands of wallpapers I could use I'm just trying to get rid of the extra nonsense on my phone that I don't like or use. Why should we pay for backing up or storage for things that we don't ever use? It adds up. It seems to me if there's a screensaver that uses the least amount of battery and there's some special secret to it that should be what we use I don't care if it's the ugliest thing on earth or the prettiest thing on earth but if my battery is going to go from 100% to 70% without using the phone at all or from a call or text message all day & night something's wrong with the phone. And I have made sure to not allow fetching or allow location on any app yet because I'm trying to funnel and circumnavigate the best settings before I start using the phone. I have multiple phones with different carriers and I'm just now trying out the ProMax 14 and I'm finding that it really drains the battery without even using it at all from 100% it just goes down down down and I know it must be a setting so I've been playing with it for a month appx by not making calls, not watching vids etc. After charging my phone I set it on the shelf and at the end of 24-hour period it's really low on battery. I have a 10-year-old phone that holds 40% battery after not using it 10 years & the comparison is huge difference. That gives me an idea. I'm going to charge my 14 up 100% and turn it off for a week and see if it holds a charge. Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. I really appreciate it.

Have you tried to identify the app that drains the most battery from the battery usage? You will be able to distinguish between the system apps.

Try turning off the following: Privacy and Security>Location Services>System Services>Significant Locations

I should analyze my battery, you are right. Although I have gone through those settings and location is not allowed on my phone. I'm trying to get it perfect as possible for me before I start using it. Thank you for mentioning that I have overlooked that so I'll charge it up again Wait 24 hours and review the battery usage. Thank you so much. Great answer I had forgotten to utilize. ✅
