Hello!

I've always rocked a case on my 12PM and played with the thought of using it without one. I upgraded to the 14PM in September and immediately got a case. This is also the first phone I purchased Apple Care+ for.

I use very thin and lovely minimalistic cases but I just love the feeling of the naked phone.

I'm not afraid of dropping it, I just fear those micro scratches.

What's your opinion on this? What do you use?

It’s not as if cases cost a small fortune. Buy a case and maybe pay for Apple care for a few years. After that, the phone is old and the insurance probably isn’t worth it.

What?

AppleCare+ is like $250

Spigen cases cost <$30.

I’ve never purchased Apple Care, but I do spend the $30’or so on case and screen protector combo.

I think I had some sort of a monthly payment on the Apple Care. I got it when I first bought my phone, but after two years, I canceled it.

Ya they have option of paying monthly and if you go that route it continues until you cancel rather than just 2 years

No case. No AppleCare. This has worked for me since 2009.

You will get micro scratches, I would put a screen protector on, scratches on the screen means you see it for years to come. The body not as important

Get a skin, it can add a nice grippier texture and it avoids micro scratches. That what I use and if I want a case I can put I over the skin.
