I was wondering if there is anyway to stop the iPhone 12 from using the battery as power and only use plugged in power

I’ve always had a problem with iPhone batteries and them dying early. I use my phone a lot, sometimes needing 2 full charges to get through the day. I’ve had my phone for 11 months and already at 90% battery health.

So I was hoping there was a way to just disable the battery

Thanks

You are considered well above average in terms of use, even for a power user. The battery is going to deteriorate faster given your pattern of use, no way around it. I would plan to replace the battery as needed, likely at or before the two year mark.

Appreciate it. 80% and lower worth replacing?

Correct. You can replace it anytime prior to 80 percent, but that’s when you’ll see the most severe performance impacts.
