I’m kinda over my 12, it works fine for the most part but it’s become sluggish and it doesn’t have the cinematic feature like the newer models so which I like for content creation. I could trade in my 12 and get $1000 off of the 14 Pro making my monthly payments for it 0 as long as I keep it for the full 2 years which is easy enough since Ive basically had my 12 for two years as well.

I wanted the 13 pro but it’s not included in the promotion deal, so is the 14 pro worth it? Would roughly spend $200 after paying my current phone off and other fees.

The 14 Pro is a great phone but definitely heavier as well. Take into consideration if you’ll be buying a case and/or screen protector as well. Also, read the fine print and make sure the iPhone 12 is included in the $1000 off. I’ve been screwed over by that before. I was assured a particular phone qualified but later found out it wasn’t.

I talked to my friend who works at ATT and he was the one who told me about the deal, it also shows up the same in the app so I’m confident the 12 is included

Doesn’t AT&T spread the bill credits over 36 months?

All he told me was that my monthly payment would be 0 as long as I kept the phone for 36 months so I think so

Okay, in your original post you said 2 years but 36 months is 3 years. Also take into account that it can take 2 full billing cycles for the credits to kick in.

Hey man make sure you’re to go straight to Apple and finance, through AT&T avoid any hassle! I would just make sure that your phone is in good condition, and that your plan is supported for the upgrade which is the starter, extra, premium/elite. Also, in my personal experience my iPhone 14 Pro came unlocked and I instantly got the bill credit and I didn’t have to wait two to three months for it to apply. (I traded in an iPhone XS for 350$ but actually got 800$ off)

No way it’s becoming sluggish.

People are still using the 6S.

The fees total kinda sucks if you have to pay them because you accept the trade, but $800 total discount is still more than the entire cost of the 12 so if you can swing the $200 fees when you want to switch it should be a solid upgrade.

Camera is way better (although some people find it overprocessing). Try before you buy.

Dynamic island is cool.

Overall more recent CPU - more smooth UI, also means the phone will be supported a bit longer from now.

I traded my 12 in for a 14 Pro, and honestly I would have been better waiting another year. It's just not a huge jump.
