Could be a bad charger and/or cable and/or your lightning port dirty AF

It’s a factory usb cable but I can try another one. Rest of the cables throughout the house have no issues

The cable and or the charging brick you use for overnight charging your problem then.
Swap the cable with a known good one you have in the house and see what happens. If problem still occurs then swap charging bricks.

Have you cleaned out your charging port lately? It’s amazing how much crap gets in there.

What do you use to clean it? I've tried one of those duster cans and a pin, but afraid to scratch/damage it.

I use a wooden toothpick that I’ve nibbled the end a little bit on. The roughened up slightly moist wood works great for grabbing lint and dust really well and no metal on metal damage.

Thanks for the idea

Great idea. Before I saw this I tried with a tooth flossing pick. The pointy end of it:

I use a new cheap $0.99 tooth brush.

Good idea. My dentist always gives out free extra ones anyway haha

That’s where I get mine too 🤣

Toothbrush didn’t work but the sharp end of a tooth floss pick did. Look at this crap that came out 😅

A toothbrush can’t help that 😳
