I had the ZFold 2. I found a lot of the time I just wanted to send a quick text with one hand, and really struggled with the thickness of the phone in one hand, and trying to type on such a narrow outside screen. I found that I didn't open the phone as much for a lot of simple tasks like checking my email or searching for something on the web. I finally switched back to iPhone after my best friend ditched android to go back to iPhone and I haven't looked back.

I mean, your results may vary, but just how I was used to doing quick little things on my phone during the day, the narrow outside screen killed me. If I was going to be on my phone for awhile I might open it up or something, but I found I was trying to do a lot of things on the outer screen out of habit a guess. Just my view on things, you may have a totally different experience. The folding screen was pretty cool.

Let me just say I know three android users who tried the Z Fold 3 and 4 none of them owned the phone for more than a few months. It’s a cool idea in concept but it’s a chunky phone with multitasking leaving much to be desired. So many people I know end up using the smaller closed screen vs the hassle of opening the internal.

For many people the compromises aren’t worth it.
