Great tip! It seems you can also just hold it, type one or as many symbols/numbers as you need to with your other thumb, then let go and it goes back to the letters

When the keyboard is on letters; you can hold the “123” key, the keyboard switches to numbers&symbols, drag your finger to the number or symbol, then release, and keyboard switches back to letters.

Nice tip, thank you!! And the opposite works, too! Hold the ABC key, the keyboard switches to letters, drag your finger to the letter, then release, and keyboard switches back to numbers.

That’s genuinely helpful, kinda find it annoying how IOS keyboards don’t have numbers above the letters.

Thanks. This is one of those tips that I think I'll use it forever from now on... and even writing this reply I kept doing it like a pleb... tapping the button then tapping again.

Cool! It looks like it works for the “#+=“ symbol in the number section as well! Sometimes I hate switching back and forth between those.
