Virile has options under $50 though it would be with less experienced barbers. I think their standard cut is like 45 and then goes up for higher tier barbers

QB House. Path to WTC, right outside the John St exit. $25. Japanese barber shop chain with a few shops in NYC.

The only positive of going bald is the $50 savings on haircuts. Fucking insane that you have to pay $50 for a 5 min job 🤬

If you’re paying $50 for a basic haircut you’re getting ripped off

I don’t reconvened Vs, I went once and the guy I booked wasn’t there, after ~15min of waiting some old guy offered to do it instead. I swear from start to finish it was under 10min, the cut wasn’t worst it just looked like someone did it in 10min.

Biscott by jsq. 45 before tip is a steal for this guy's work. Jacques is unreal. His fade work will get you compliments for weeks. I've had a lot of barbers but nobody comes close to this guy's talent.

Great clips @ portofino is probably cheapest downtown. 18$ ($13 with coupon). My husband is low maintenance and gets his hair cuts there. He likes them as much as his expensive haircuts. There is an Indian lady there and she cuts great.

I go to Etiket now, 35 bucks. They're pretty good but it matters on what you want. I have low hair so I just get a shape up

Does anyone have an opinion on International styles? I go in for fades. Usually takes 30-60min and comes out $55 after tip

This barbers are getting too bold. $50 for less than an hour of work??? I’d lose my mind before paying $40 or 50

Basically. I go in the middle of the day on a weekday when it's slow, usually it's an okay to good person. I'm not a complicated cut & it's fine, I'd rather cheap.

Going during Prime Time when they are full and rushing, not as good.

I bought my own DIY haircut clippers from Marshalls for $25 in November and I'm getting better and better at it. I wear a safety hat / head gear for work anyway so whatever it looks like, idc. I'm getting better with fading. At least I'm not paying $40 for a cut every other week. So buy yourself home clippers.
