I had high hopes for Hoots: Jersey City's still lacking a solid wing spot.

They weren't great the one time I did takeout

Not a traditional wing place but the Korean chicken spot in the Newport mall food court is really banging

Kimchi guys slid into the void that Bon Chon created but shifting gears, any chance a Buffalo Wild Wings succeeds in JC? No nonsense sports bar with legit wings. (And I say this as someone who doesn’t like chains.)

They were terrible wings.

Crazy because it took them so long just to open and not even last that long. Never even went to try it out.

Went once, destroyed my bathroom. Good riddance

I tried them a couple of times, just out of the lack-of-wing-spots. They weren’t that good. Plus the location sucked. It was barely visible when you weren’t looking for it.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say they weren’t profitable

Location location. Should have put that on Newark at least. Not sure what they were thinking

Lack of Wings? You guys need to give Space Pizza a try. And winging it...Both on Ocean. ☺️

When someone on this sub says "Jersey City is..." translate to "Downtown." 🤦

I keep meaning to try this place. They have insanely good reviews on Google. Seldom down that way, but will be close by next week and definitely getting a pizza and some wings to try out. Thanks for the reminder.

I liked their pizza the last time I ordered a while back, gotta remember the next time for wings!

I didn’t even realize they opened

Didn’t realize they were still open. I assume they had closed already because I never heard anything about them from like anyone.

Lines were around the corner for the conveyer sushi and this place was barren. It was embarrassing.

It took them 25 minutes to make an order.

It was damn expensive.

It gave you choice paralysis on how you could have your wings.

It never produced any marketing or offers.

It had zero visibility on the street.

It picked the protein that has increased in price massively in the last 2 years.

It was Hooters with the wings but no breasts. And no atmosphere. Its gimmick was to be gimmickless.

Go get a Chicken Lollipop at Franklin Social's Happy Hour or anything from Bobwhite, everyone wins.

Too expensive but I did like their Lemon Pepper wings
