Anyone nose feeling uncomfy recently?

Hello JC residents,

My nose has been itchy and uncomfy since roughly one week ago. Same happened to my wife as well. Sneezes and watering a lot. Suspect there are some allergens in my apartment but can't figure out what. Never allergic to anything, never had a pollen issue in Spring but this happened. Any comrades? Thanks!

I have allergies, usually manageable with medication. This past year has been a disaster for my allergies! Funny thing is, even my dog started sneezing recently🤷🏻‍♀️

Got 2 air purifiers that run 24/7.

Cold and dry air. Get an inexpensive humidstat. If below 30 relative humidity, get a humidifier.

I had to ask my apt management to take a better look at our split AC units. Turned out, they needed to be cleaned around every 6 months. I’m not taking about simply cleaning the screen, but they had to get HVAC people to come and pump out dirt with water. I’ve been in my apt for 6 years and this was the first time it was done. When I moved into it, the previous tenant was here for 3 years. It’s gross.

Allergies can start any time. I never had seasonal allergies until 2010 and bam 💥… fuck you flowers ever since.

Get an air purifier inside the apartment. It may help. Also a humidifier because during the winter it dries the air

i have allergies, usually just sinus congestion, and i take claritin d for it. but a few weeks ago i started having weird sore-ish throat symptoms. after a bunch of days i went to urgent care and they said it looked like allergies. i don’t know if its an allergy to something new or what but it’s annoying!
