Hi everyone,

I'm looking for apartments in Jersey City hoping for the following:

- Preferably in Grove Street/Newport area, but definitely open to other places

- 1 bedroom (hopefully at least 700 sq ft)

- $3,500 maximum (preferably more in the $3,200 range)

- Close to PATH station (<10 minute walk or has a reliable shuttle to the PATH station)

- Reputable place

Thanks everyone in advance! I really appreciate it!

Bayonne maybe.

Eh, light rail isn’t always quick or reliable from bayonne if they need or want to get to path quickly. And it can add another 30-40 mins to the commute surprisingly if taking the path to get to nyc.

Checkout Grove Pointe. Older building but right above the PATH station. And apartments tend to be spacy. Although have to warn about the elevators that tend to breakdown frequently.

Windsor at Liberty House is in a quiet area and about 10 minutes' walk from both Grove and Exchange Place PATH stations, with a fair number of units around $3200: https://www.windsoratlibertyhouse.com/floorplans

They do charge fees for amenities and parking spots however.

I think you can find that if you look at a brownstone in the Hamilton Park area. You likely won’t find that in a luxury high rise with all the fancy amenities, but if you look on Zillow you might be able to find something this time of year.

That budget is a little low for a luxury building, you are going to need a broker and a brownstone.

If you’re looking for amenities and that price range, check out the Beacon. They have a shuttle to and from downtown.
