I’ve tried yoga on and off for years. I will never get into the spiritual aspect of it. Love that it works for so many… it does not for me. I dread going to class.

But I love a group setting. Do classes that focus solely on flexibility and stretching exist outside of yoga? Willing to travel anywhere around Hudson or Essex county.

I’ve heard of stretchlab but $59 for 60 minutes is kind of bonkers.

Pilates worked for me. Prob not as flexibilty focused as yoga, but I def got much more limber doing it (amd none of the woo). Project Pilates on Columbus is great--small classes, calm vibe.

I'm teaching a pop up barre class at the new Four Fitness HP on Erie on 2/25. Barre is not as focused on flexibilty as yoga but is derived from ballet so does help lengthen your muscles and increase flexibilty. It focuses on small movements and is a killer workout. Drop in is $20 which is a pretty great drop in rate for this area.
