Looking for recommendations for cleaning services that come out to Greenville that steam clean furniture as well as deep cleans! Any suggestions would be helpful. Maid in jc don't come this way.
Update: I've gone with Ms. Irene maids and am going to steam clean the couches ourselves. We'll see how it goes

Best bet’s gonna be to gonna be to ask in your building chat board/concierge for a referral. Next best bet is to gonna be to care.com to find a person to come to your home. During a national hiring crisis the companies are not going to pay the cleaners & drivers to drive 15 minutes to your home (for drop off), 15 minutes back to their office and then 15 minutes your home (for pick up) and another 15 mins back to their office again. It costs way too much. We’re competing against all those people in downtown who live in all those apartment buildings where the company’s not paying for any transportation because the team’s are going from apartment to apartment to apartment in the same building.
They have a fleet of cars/vans. I have seen them in Hoboken/Bayonne/ West NY/ Union City and Edgewater.
That's odd because it says they service only 3 zip codes in downtown Jersey City. It's impossible to hire now - everywhere I go I see giant HELP WANTED signs and I try to be more patient in restaurants because it seems like no one wants to work anymore. I remember in NYC when people were complaining about dishwashers earning $15/hr but hey, we all have to live and pay inflated prices for rent and groceries so everyone's demanding $ per hour more I guess. Picked up my income taxes and the CPA was telling me that all of his McDonald's franchise owners were selling now because employees were demanding higher pay and corporate won't raise menu prices fast enough to cover. We're in a weird place with the economy right now.

Yeah and when I tried to get a quote they told me they don't serve my area. My husband doesn't like them for the fact they DO have all those cars.
Maid in Hoboken drives all over because I’ve seen their cars in the Costco lot in Bayonne and also in Edgewater at a friend’s. Growing up my mom always called Stanley Steamer for furniture deep cleaning - maybe connect with them? Good luck!

I am not saying you are wrong in a sense. But it’s not that people don’t want to work. But people are tired of being exploited.
Real wages have not gone up for decades for most. Yet workers are being more productive than ever before for less.
My friend has a good job for a huge medical hospital system. But Management is driving them hard to do about 11 to 13 hours of work in a 8 hour shift. She is getting burnt out.
Inflation has been used by corporations to line their pockets with record profits while increasing prices for most goods.
McDonald’s can afford to raise wages and many other corporations as well. It’s just corporate and greedy investors don’t like sharing the trough with the peasants.
The economy isn’t in a weird place. Late end capitalism is real Ugly and people are tired of being slaves.
How is it that a few decades ago, you could afford a house, a car, maybe even college…. by working at a grocery store or working at the post office?
Oh those poor folks who have to sell their franchises. So many of them underpaying their workers for decades. At least they helped the workers apply for welfare. And made sure they didn’t work too many hours… so they weren’t required to give them benefits.

Why would they not come out to Greenville? Their office is right next to Ferris High. It’s like a 10 minute drive.
