Y’all should really be sure before you say active shooter

I posted in another thread on this: last I heard on police scanner was something about a popcorn machine malfunction setting off alarms. Usual disclaimer: this is early info, accuracy is not guaranteed.

We were there on the third floor. Didn’t sound like a popcorn machine but it’s hard to tell. The fire alarm went off. And then pop pop. And everyone started screaming and running. We went down the escalator into kohls. Down again and out a back exit. Was v scary

Does anyone in the area know if it’s all clear to go back? We ran and my car is still in the lot

Im at Los quernos now where a few people ‘evacuated’ to. .. they swear it’s gunshots. It makes for a much better story than being scared of popcorn.

Just evacuated from the movies. No shooter that I saw, but it was kind of scary I guess

I was in there, did not hear anything. But people were freaking out and the stampede was crazy. I hope no one got hurt in the stampede.

I got hurt. That was one of the worst experience I have ever had. And it turns out it was a popcorn machine that exploded. SMH

A friend said they saw sparks though so it had to be gunshots, this is coming from the first floor too

I get that this was a norm in our hood, but it doesn’t mean that we need to be passive about it for the rest of our lives too. Be blessed my fellow hood person.

With so many mass shootings in America now when you’re in a crowded public place, hear what sound like gunshots and see 100% of the people (black, brown, white) running in the opposite direction it’s the opposite of absurd to fear the worst..

So things should just never change according to your statement. Everything just stay as it was in the 90’s. Got it.

Imagine if someone said which demographic was committing that crime in the 1990’s….
