where can I get some pants hemmed??

any recommendations? in JC or NY. I normally would have my mom hem them but we don’t live together anymore so idk how to go about getting them hemmed. TY!

edit: if you happen to know how much your suggested place costs to hem, pls include that too- I appreciate it!

Alterations to Go but pretty much any dry cleaners can tackle this I'd imagine.

Recently went to Anthony Turner Tailoring. He was great. Roughly $15-$20 for pants getting hemmed

Any dry cleaners normally does at least minor alterations.

For something like that it’s normally $6-15 per pants.

For regular customers it’s often super cheap. They use it as a way to keep you coming in. It’s a few minutes of easy work for someone with experience doing alterations and they’ll give you a 3 day window, so they just do it when they’ve got nothing higher priority to do. If you come in off the street you’ll pay a bit more.

You don’t really need a tailor for this. It’s a trivial task.

omg I stopped by here and they quoted me $148 to hem 2 pants. thank you for the suggestion but idk wtf they’re charging $148 for!

Haven't needed to do this in a while but normally I'd just find the nearest dry cleaner & get pants hemmed there. Pretty much any dry cleaner does that sort of work.
