I've got to get a 135 lb appliance to the 4th fl and the old one down. I have the webbing "shoulder dolly" that pro appliance movers use. Willing to pay well, but I just don't have any contacts and the last time I got some guys from St Lucys one was very sketchy.

EDIT: Job done, guys were happy with the pay, I was happy with their hard work. Capitalism.

As others have mentioned. This is what the app taskrabit was made for.

Most of the taskrabbit 'movers' are looking to be paid for their vehicles as well as labor. There doesn't seem to be a good way to just get labor. But I have a PM from someone who looks like it'll work out for this evening.

U-Haul's website has a feature where you can search for "labor only" movers. I've had good experience with Honeymovers in the past.

Next time use Craigslist. I hired a dude for $15 to help me lift my tv onto my mantle. Literally 15 seconds of work and then he long boarded into the sunset. I tossed him a pre-roll because he was a chill dude.
