You must mean Union Township, and not Union City, because an UberX to Union City should be less than $18.

Yeah, that's a tough area to reach efficiently without private transportation. A simple 25 minute drive can take 2 hours in public transit, and it would be a mess of three seats, maybe four. I do that drive once a month and I am always perplexed by how hard it would be to do it without having a car.
