I second this!

ETA- which location?
I’ve always had a good experience at Zion nails on Newark Ave, Downtown
Edit:: should caveat that I only get basic pedicures and gel manicures. I’m not into acrylics or fancy designs.
Thank you!

Thank you!
Nails Altier in Hoboken is NOT good. They gave me an appointment at 7PM for a manicure and pedicure, they made me wait till 7.15 pm. I asked them if we would have enough time and they said yes. They started with a pedicure and the lady made me pay while I was getting my pedicure done. Citing that they want to close the register.
The female who did my manicure literally hurried through everything including putting nail color. When I told her that a couple nails looked bumpy she said they had to close. Then while I was leaving the owner lady or manager whoever she was, forced me to tip. I was not against tipping fyi - but I was mad that she did not even take efforts to fix my nail color on hand. She said I should tip in cash as not all girls have Venmo and was adamant about it. I had to put my hand in my sling bag to get the money out just so she could shut up. That spoiled my other nails.
Note - it was regular color, not gel. Did not give me time to even dry them
Oof thank you for letting us know
Spa Nature was my go-to but I’ve been liking Sophie’s Nails on Marin and Bay lately (only prefer over Spa Nature because it’s a shorter walk for me and they have dip powder)
