Yeah they’re using some kind of truck mounted industrial vacuum to clean the light rail. I know because it has been directly outside my window since 7am.

I moved into a coop in august off the light rail and had no goddamn clue what that sound was every night, thank you. I just thought it was a power station not far past that.

Oh they don’t do it every night, so if you’ve been hearing it a lot it might be something else. Or maybe they’ve been working their way down the tracks and only just got to me.

Perhaps. It doesn’t keep me up, I’m just up (far too) late at night but I haven’t heard any of my neighbors complain about it either.
