Sad they are closing it down. On a positive note, I don't have to buy my wife a boba tea every time I'm in that neighborhood.

This was the thee place 10 years ago. Loved it when I was in high school and college. But yeah the last time I went it seems like place where dream go to die.

You should try stopping by meet fresh, only like 2 blocks from that place! 😆

20 years of selling sugary milky beverages is no small feat. These aren’t scaled up chain businesses. Probably got tired and wanted to retire.

Now I just need to steer my wife from this route while entering the mall. This place is much more expensive than the other one :P

Now I'm going to have to make this month's pumpkin bubble tea by hand.

Only tried once and it was yucky! Mogee Tee and Ayo Tea shop in the neighborhood + MeetFresh (eventho it is not really good) probably what make the business in difficult situation.

Newport is bubble tea Central. There’s mogee tea also, meet fresh, then like 3 -4 bubble tea shops in the mall (the falafel shop and ramen shop have bubble tea lol)

My personal favorite is real fruit tea I think it’s called. The mango is just so good. Second favorite is mogee tea. Not a fan personally of gong cha…

I also like the one in 99 ranch but that’s not same area.

Oh yes! Real Fruit Tea too! I like their oolong tea! Yeah, Im not a big fan of Gong Cha too.

Super sad I loved the coconut blended boba. It was the first boba I had when I moved to Jersey City.

I used to leave above it in Newport and would run down for late night chicken fingers all the time. They were so good. Pretty sad.

I think I’m the only one who never went there. All my mutuals are reposting it being upset and mentioned going there after school. Guess I was living under a rock lol
