Just did a little 1-time course this past Friday at Blue Skies Pottery it was great and the owner ran the class. she was super sweet and very inviting. definitely recommend. - 720 Monroe St # C414, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Blue Skies Pottery in Hoboken opened recently and has reasonably price one-time classes for adults. I haven't been there but I've been meaning to try it.

New York New Jersey Academy of Ceramic Art. Near LSP.
My bf and I went for date night to Sandy Mones Pottery in JC. If you’re going for date night wear comfortable clothes you won’t mind getting a little dirty. You have to sit very close to the pottery wheel and will get clay all over your arms. It was a lot of fun, but you have to be really patient because it’s hard (for me it was). Not as easy as they make it look like in that Ghost pottery scene.
i don't think they do one-off workshops, but actual multi-week classes
There is a new pottery studio opening at 9th and Erie in Hamilton Park....a studio from Brooklyn opening a second one.
Frank and Henni might customize a workshop if you ask.
