Car had to run the light. The train triggers the light. There’d have to be a few simultaneous failures for the light to be green and the train to be in the “wrong”.

Yes it is! The reporters said there were limbs and body parts already on the tracks when the train ran them over.

Drove past this around 6PM. I had a green light while the LR was directly under it again.

Got to the train at 8 pm at exchange place, it was a bit delayed but otherwise back to normal. I fortunately have the option to take the ferry and walk 10 min to home.

At that crossing, driver would also had to be blind to not notice the light rail.

Still no peer to the jersey avenue SUV post from a few months ago. That was winning.

Most likely blindly following traffic that was a decent distance ahead. People see cars moving 1000 feet away and forget there are two or three lights in that distance in some places.

In this one and in other interceptions too. I go running 8m most days to LSP and I can't remember the number of times the trains have to stop cause idiots in cars stop right on the rails. Usually on rush hour when cars queue from the lights at the hospital. I am surprised this doesn't happen more often.
