Hate to say it, but it was gonna happen eventually. People love challenging the trains on this intersection, hope everyone is alright

So that’s why there were about 100 people waiting at the exchange place station. Anyone know what happened?

This is the same intersection that some body parts were seen back in the summer? Any updates on that incident, was the man dead before being hit?

Shit…I’ve been hit twice this year by light rail. They practically come out nowhere.

Edit: guys. I’m totally serious. You can tell as I’m using my ‘I’m totally serious’ writing style.

Car had to run the light. The train triggers the light. There’d have to be a few simultaneous failures for the light to be green and the train to be in the “wrong”.

Drove past this around 6PM. I had a green light while the LR was directly under it again.

Got to the train at 8 pm at exchange place, it was a bit delayed but otherwise back to normal. I fortunately have the option to take the ferry and walk 10 min to home.

Still no peer to the jersey avenue SUV post from a few months ago. That was winning.

Most likely blindly following traffic that was a decent distance ahead. People see cars moving 1000 feet away and forget there are two or three lights in that distance in some places.

In this one and in other interceptions too. I go running 8m most days to LSP and I can't remember the number of times the trains have to stop cause idiots in cars stop right on the rails. Usually on rush hour when cars queue from the lights at the hospital. I am surprised this doesn't happen more often.
