Need some nitrogen gas for some cooking experiments I am doing with coffee. Might extend it to beer as well in the future.

I am trying to find a store that sells to individuals. There is an Airgas store in Newark, I am not sure if they sell to Individuals.

We have 20 and 40 cubic foot cylinders, it's a $100 deposit for the tank, and I think $25 or $30 for the gas. Once you're done with the tank you can bring it back for a refund on your deposit, or swap it for a new tank.

We're downtown by Hamilton Park, and we also deliver anywhere in Jersey City.

We also have CO2 and Nitrogen/CO2 blend (aka beer gas). Plus draughts equipment, regulators, kegs, chemicals, etc. We have actually set up a lot of coffee places in the area with nitrogen stuff. If you have questions, hit me up or email us, I can try to make sure I'm there to personally to help out.

Ah that was a while ago and we don't have them anymore, but if you want I can dig up the contact info for the guy who makes them, you may be able to buy one from him directly.

What about soda stream canister refills?

Unfortunately not, those are too small to be economical for us. But I will tell you it's totally worth it to get a converter kit and get 2.5 lb CO2 tanks from us. That's what I did, and it saves a ton of money, but you need a bit of space for the tank. Sodastream canisters are a huge ripoff, and it's how they make all their money.

Airgas could care less as long as your money is green. I've bought welding gases from them.

Nevermind, I just realized you want a large cylinder and not the small cartridges.

You guessed right though, we have large cylinders of nitrogen and CO2. We also have small CO2 chargers.
