Several businesses were damaged along Grove St. last night, possible hate crime. It looked like the kiosk in front of City Hall was also damaged. There was a Nextdoor post about, which has now for some reason disappeared.

Laree Adda, Uncle Momo and Ibbys Falafel were targeted. My guess is that with that many businesses damaged, there's quite a large investigation going on and other businesses are asking for additional protection.

Post disappeared from Nextdoor because a moderator aka JCDO Secretary, Jan Norland probably took it off. https://jcdo.org/elected-officers/ Ever notice how she NEVER posts anything that throws shade on HCDO/JCDO? Not a peep about Amy DeGise but she will repost everything that the Mayor posts.

Was the jcdo involved in the property damage?

Before the Nextdoor post was removed, OP explicitly said something to the effect of the admins allowing thinly-veiled racism and conspiracy theories to flourish on the site. Perhaps the admins took it as a personal slight.

So let me get this right. Several businesses on grove street were damaged, a Nextdoor post was posted but now it’s been removed, and nothing else posted anywhere? Yet if ChicPea gets a haircut there are 100 posts about it. Why isn’t this reported anywhere? Seems very odd

Agree it's strange news outlets haven't picked it up, but the post did contain pictures of smashed windows at Uncle Momo and planters turned over. If you walk down Grove, you can probably see for yourself.

Should specify, I don’t mean inside of the path station. Just in the neighborhood.
