You could book a haircut with one of the apprentices at Virile barbershop. There are 2 locations in downtown. When you book with an apprentice, the haircut is free because they’re still in training. I usually do that when my usual guy isn’t available and it’s always a great cut. Tip generously though.

Wow even $30 can’t get you a professional haircut in jersey city. It is kinda crazy to me cause in 30 bucks I used to get a lot from where I moved.

The barber has to pay their exorbitant rent/mortgage/property tax too. Not gonna do that by charging $20 per haircut

It’s $25 now for a regular haircut but still recommend them 100%

Adams on Hutton and Summit. Solid haircut, reasonable price and plenty of attitude. Perfect for JC.

I’m having a hard time find them on the web. Do you have link to a page or a address or anything?

Kinda don’t like they don’t let you choose a stylist while booking an appointment. Also, haven’t heard great things about them but ig only ppl in the price range for $20 here.

Not sure the name of it, but I go to a barber shop next to Eggmania in JSQ. It isn’t listed on Google Maps but I swear it does exist! They charge $15 for a men’s cut and they actually take their time with it. My girlfriend is a big fan. Would highly recommend, but they are cash only.

JCPenny’s at the mall. Make an appointment with Abdel. You might need to call for the appointment because the online system removed him for some reason. He’s $25 and good.

V's is terrible, especially the barber in the first chair as you walk in. I'm never going back.
