I need to break my lease at Haus25 in March. Anyone interested in taking over? I was an early resident so the rent is lower than they're charging now.

Details:

1BR/1BA apartment in brand-new luxury building Haus25, located in downtown Jersey City.

Lease Term: Starts 3/15/23 (flexible), ends 1/1/2024

Monthly Rent: $3615 (similar units in the building are going for at least $4700 now)

Nah, dude... no one is paying those prices. Haus25 is giving away a month or two on new leases.

Imagine taking over a lease and paying $3,600 when you can just do a new lease and get a couple months free directly from the property.

So many people respond to these types of posts with condescending remarks. Do you not realize that dual income couples that commute to NYC for work make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year?

This 100%

What I pay at Haus is half of what I was paying in city making mid 6 figures. No car, meals taken care of a work, my only expense was literally rent. Plus 1/2 the commute time to work, plus no 4% city tax. JC is literally a no brainer for folks who would prefer to say fuck off to NYC
