The perfect (saddest?) way to determine if a city has been gentrified and yuppified past the tipping point. Heck, I still remember when a homicide or brutal assault in DTJC would monopolize local boards for days/weeks. Now, people are getting shot, knifed, whatever, and it barely registers.

But, having said that, for sure the chair overboard thing is annoying and frustrating. Those tables and chairs see a lot of use and it would be nice if people didn't fuck with them for no reason whatsoever other than being antisocial malcontents.
