I wouldn’t take this if I was ya’ll. Heard the place was invested with roaches, and I also heard there was something wrong with the pipes.

I mean besides it being a completely different area, some people like myself just don’t like to live alone.

Also I’m living there currently and specifically looking for someone to fill my roommates spot right now. People can point out this or that but at the end of the day I’m just trying not to have to move back in with my parents, even if temporarily.

Agreed. I lived in JSQ in the LUXURY tower, arguably probably the best place to live in that area. It was very nice, esp during covid but not much going on over there. Not many grocery stores, bars, restaurants. I had to go downtown or to the heights for that. I now live next to Dixon in a brownstone and its a night/day difference with the accessibility and everything around here. I like it so much better.

Dixon is a great building. Its nice and many of the apartments are unique. The building itself is unique and it is clean. I have a pal who lived there for 3+ years and really has had no issues.

How is the wall sound proofing at Dixon?

Between apartments units, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything, besides when someone is talking while passing the front door in the hallway.

As for the sound from street traffic, it’s on the top floor so it’s not bad. You can definitely hear traffic but moreso in the living room than in the bedrooms which are up a flight of stairs. An apartment I used to live in on jersey Ave was much much worse.
