Here's a synthwave track entitled "Signal 18"

I was aiming for an early 80s inspired vibe, as if this were made in East Germany - electronic music that isn't gloomy but melancholic as if it were perpetually overcast and wet outside but cozy inside

All synths were composed entirely using Logic Pro's stock instrument library (though I used 3rd party plugins to mix it) on a mini Arturia keyboard while I was on vacation with just a laptop

The video was rotoscoped footage of a train ride somewhere in Europe

Sasha Vie - "Signal 18" (Youtube)

Sasha Vie - "Signal 18" (Spotify Apple etc)

Enjoy!

My favorite track from a small electronic artist. They used to go by Neydah and I am loving the music from their rebrand so so much!

Some lofi Hip Hop titled “Breathe”

I wanted to create something chill that can be listened to actively or passively played in the background. Tbh this song is a message to myself when I feel down or want to call it quits. Just have to stay calm and breathe.

My debut EP dropped last week, and I missed the chance to share it here on the last Melting Pot thread, so here it is. Titled “Uneven Master”, it’s a satirical, brooding journey through bedroom pop and experimental sounds and explores an aesthetic juxtaposition between my unrefined vocals and GarageBand's smooth instrumentation and production. I'm very proud of the lyrics I penned for it, so I'm excited to share it.

It’s available on all major stores, including Spotify and Bandcamp:

Thanks to anyone who gives it a listen, and feel free to follow me on my Spotify or Bandcamp page if you enjoy it (since I'm planning on releasing an album later in the year).

Here's my newest tune. Kinda indie folk vibe a la early Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, Elliott Smith

https://ffm.to/drying-flowers

Drying Flowers is from the perspective of those sweet early encounters when you suspect a deep love is blossoming. Maybe circumstances weren't lining up easily, me being on the road and all, but in this case we go a great distance to allow romance to grow. Written, recorded, produced and mixed by myself - with the recording primarily done in an idyllic cabin by the gorgeous Populatic Pond in MA. In this tune I return to self-recording and production after my previous release (Cogs / Twigs), that I worked on with Runnner (Skullcrusher) as producer.

I also put together a monthly playlist, dig:

My new favorite album, acoustic songs, mainly voice and guitar, with lots of harmonies.

Poetic and personal lyrics, in english and french.

I know the artist and the amount of work that went into this album, but the reason I'm sharing it is because it has genuingly become one of my most listened albums. It definitlely deserves more attention !

Here is the Spotify link: Anaïs Magrini - "Heart on a Rope"

But the album is also available on other platforms, happy listening :)

This is a track titled Pink Gin by our band Slic Pickles. We recorded this last year in a homemade studio in an attic.

This was our first song written after forming the band a month or two before.

We’ve got some newer material recorded ready to release very soon but we thought we’d put our first ever song we did on our Spotify etc as a warm up to our other stuff.

The song attempts to capture the feeling of summer, hanging outside with friends and making memories in the warm weather.

If you get chance please check It out.

We can be found online @slicpickles most places.

Here is a Spotify link.

Here's my latest song, "Jealous Eyes". You can listen to it on any platform you stream music.

Jealous Eyes

I composed the song during the first couple of weeks of my new relationship. I was a very insecure person during these couple of weeks and always hated other guys looking at or talking to my new girlfriend. I always wondered why that always happens to people, other guys trying to "get at" your girl. I started to ponder the question, why do guys always pay attention to my girl but other girls don't pay attention to me. This song is a play off of the idea. If you pay close attention to the lyrics you can see this idea come into play.

If you enjoyed listening to my new song then a like and follow would be greatly appreciated. I'll be releasing more music that cover REAL topics such as this song did.

Thank you for taking the time to read and enjoy listening to my song.

This song tells the story of someone who's fiance just cheated on them. They know their dreams of a happy marriage and a picturesque life together with this person are now crumbling and laying before them in ruins. A dream that once felt so close to becoming a reality has now quickly turned into a nightmare... Even with all the pain and agony this person's infidelity has caused our main character, part of them still wishes they didn't have to go...

Sounds like: ambient, instrumental rock with a guitar focus. Post-rock with electronic elements. Heavily influenced by Mogwai, This Will Destroy You... etc.

I have another single I'm releasing at the end of the month and a full album next month. Hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone! I'm an electronic music producer that loves to experiment with both EDM and IDM styles.

My most recent release "Free With An Eye" is my most experimental track by far. It uses a harmonic minor scale, has vibrato on the sub-bass, has a reverberated side signal, and is mostly 131.95 BPM. There are even more weird things about it, but you'll have to listen to the track to find out!

HI All, i released this track/video this week and be great if you could check it out. I work in experimental electronic music, ambient, neo-classical vibes. The film itself is a homage to cult / arthouse sci-fi films like Primer, Cube and Upstream Colour, and the work of David Cronenberg. It follows a collector of otherworldly sounds and anomalies (played by the amazing Helana Sawires) who attempts to track down a strange apparition. Cheers, J
