Oh I remember these guys. Didn't this dude write like 3 albums about hating his ex?
It's some good, no-frills early metalcore though!

Bubbledood t1_iv96m00 wrote

More like killing his ex. Saw them live and partied with them after the show, nice dudes irl but the music is pretty misogynistic.

I live in Charlotte NC, and saw these dudes live more times than I can count. Some of the most fun I’ve ever had at shows

This band introduced me to so many great movies. Same with Dr.Acula.

Cthulhu2016 t1_iv7te3d wrote

Their early stuff was named after goosebumps books. Shocker on shocker Street, always a great throwback jam! Their new stuff Welcome to dead house. is sick!!

Oh, and they got their name from Mitch Hedberg!

New Dr. Acula is sick if you haven't heard it yet.

Yes! their new self-titled album is great. They broke up back in 2012 and nothing until they got back together in 2019. Had no idea they were about to drop some new fire!

Used to listen to this while playing racing games on Xbox 360. ‘Hold me closer Tony danza’ is a good one too

I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers and hold me closer Tony Danza, are two of my favorites!

I still listen to their Christmas album, Stocking Stuffher, multiple times around Christmas. It's so fun

Saw these guys live with like 30 people total in the crowd back in 2006 and the lead singer jumped down into the crowd and spit on us and threw us around. Good fucking times. Great performance.

“Matt Rudzinski is known as the vocalist of Killwhitneydead and also owns two indie labels: Tribunal Records (since 1999) and Divebomb Records (since 2008).”

This dude has a great life

Cthulhu2016 t1_iv7sgcr wrote

Hes a great dude too, always respects his fans and talks to everyone that sends him a message, I've been frinds with Matt for years on Facebook and he's always chill and down to talk if he's not busy.

I love watching movies or TV shows and noticing the little sound clips they use in their songs. Takes me a second to realize why I seem to recognize a random sentence in a movie I've never seen before haha

Good ol classic MySpace era deathcore

TheGameSlave2 t1_iv89mqx wrote

Love this band. Own all their albums, seen them live multiple times, and caught their very last Halloween show a few years ago. Matt is a chill guy, and the shows were always fun.

Some wicked riffs in there though.

This says way more about you than everyone else. Seek help. Not listening to metalcore didn’t make you not an Incel. You did that on your own
