Church of the Cosmic Skull is pretty great, best description i have heard of these guys is "Imagine Gandalf casting the spell 'Magic Mushroom' on the band Kansas" They have a pretty fun cult schtick and are overall a good time, impossible for me not to sing along at times.

If you like something a bit darker, albums where one song may cause you to reflect on feelings of depression with songs like "Another man's grave" while another song will have you laughing at the absurdity of "doubling up on cocaine and Adderall" to go kick ass at a bingo hall. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Amigo the Devil, best cathartic release of emotions out there. not a single dud in his entire track list, hell his cover of 'Before he cheats' is great too.

A Remaster or more so a Remake of my first take on this song which I was not happy with. I have a strong emotional connection with this song so I had to make it actually as good sounding as possible.

Same vocal takes just with a lot more precision and experience mixed and mastered. I was spending multiple hours trying to make shure I get the best possible version out of this Song

for this challenge:

Record a piece of music that moves between — and perhaps even overlays — 5/8, 6/8, and 7/8 time signatures.

great idea, always loved measures like 5x8 and 7x8… I just created a click track on 3 consecutive measures of 5/8+6/8-7/8 and repeated for 3 minutes.

Spent most of the morning working on the drum part, recording editing and quantizing, then the bass part was quite easy. Then I had other works to do today and got trapped on the repetitive guitars parts (3 telecaster, 3 les paul) Late in the evening I tried to get some order on the mess but it’s late and have to abandon as it is.

I share this as a demo/work in progress, I will finish it during next week.

It is a mess but the groove is fine.
