Been meaning to catch one of these threads on time! About a month and a half ago I released my 2nd album for my noise rock project Tulpa. I'm proud of it, and other people seem to like it, so I'm sharing it around. Rec if you're into Big Black, Swans, Boris, that sort of thing.

Lose Control by Saida Almighty. This is my debut release. I have been singing since I was a little kid, recording music and performing basically my whole life. But life got in the way. I’m 27 now and finally realizing that I can write songs and record them myself without waiting to be “discovered”.

This is a song about breaking free of codependency and finding your own voice through self-discovery. The video was shot in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I was born in Kazakhstan and currently live in the U.S.

I will be glad if any of you check it out and let me know what you think!

I’m in a group called SANNIN and so far we’ve released 3 singles! Our music has genres in Indie, Lo-fi, Alternative, R&B but we would most likely be categorized as JPop! Our recent single “As Long As You’re Happy” is our catchiest song yet and I hope whoever tunes in enjoys the song!!! The instrumental was written, produced, and mixed by my cousin, I wrote the guitar solo, and my friend wrote the lyrics and sang all the vocal parts!

Michael Logie - FKD NIGHT

Thick leftfield neon dripping from chill synthy weird pop lurking through waves of oily back alley funk

Jem Gemini - Sippin 0%

Thin midi ribbons weaving smooth flows of gauzy tech through a leftfield new age of vgm tinted chill

S.L.Y.C. - Tellying

Wisps of indie dream pop drifting through the delicate calm of lush and woozy bedroom sunshine

These and other albums are posted with embedded players on my wordpress. There’s also previous week's recommendations and a lot more music to discover. You can also check out my twitter where I post all the good songs that I discover daily.

Obi-Juan - FROZEN HEART ~六月の悲しみ~Spotify YouTube

A Lo-Fi/J-Alternative instrumental with a relaxed and casual sound and overall vibe. It is suggestive of a sad romantic relationship that ended due to the other's inability to have feelings for someone else, hence the title and cover of the track with a heart drawn in the snow as if the loved one left it frozen.

The Cancellations - "Always Be My Baby" (video)
We did a spooky cover of the Mariah Carey pop classic for Halloween, complete with lovelorn grim reaper drone footage video.
We dropped the video on Halloween but the actual release got delayed because of cover license clearance. Also available on Spotify (finally, ha).

So if you're interested in music coming out of Cardiff, punk, folk or just have a spare few pennies to go to a good cause can I humbly ask you to consider picking up his album from bandcamp.

Here is the link to bandcamp for your listening pleasure should you want to check it out.

Hello all,
Posting this for a mate who recently launched his musical side project called Naked Ghost. They are based in Mumbai, India and this is the first single released late last month. The song is written as a sorta double entendre. From a genre perspective, think Pink Floyd meets modern pop. Lovely guitar solo in there for those enthusiasts.

When I was living in Lima, I spent creatively grueling days collaborating with my friend Tomás on this short film. Unfortunately, the drive ended up becoming corrupted, and while a large portion of the data was able to be recovered, we lost almost half of the footage. I couldn't bring myself to finish the film, because I knew it wouldn't be what we intended it to be, but I also didn't want our efforts to be lost within the cold, digital abyss. Then I realized that the story of the film aligned perfectly with the intention of my new single. A fortune cookie confirmed my decision later that day.

This is a little something from my latest release, it stands out to me among my newer songs because of how i decided to be brave & explore something different and take a step in the next direction. The whole EP is an imagined perspective of a confused "mind of a madman". This song speaks more about the abstract, more dreamy or maybe even artsy side of that person.

Daniel Diaz - A Cure For Nightmares [instrumental experimental] felt piano, synths , shepard tone

Hello, I created this one today morning (Friday 18th Nov 2022) using a felt piano library sound and synthesisers along with a descending shepard tone for the bad dream's part. (I have that as a recurring dream: me falling for ever)

There's a "nightmare" chord (some sort of C minor "alt") and then the "sweet dreams" chord (C6/9) Around 1 minute into the piece the "sweet dreams" chords tries to get in but fails, to be eventually fully heard at the end, before the rallentando at 1:42 and back to a nice sleep.

For a junto challenge about dreams, Read more here: Step 1: We’re going to make music inspired by recent research on sleep habits. Read the article here:

www.sciencealert.com/nightmares-can…tists-discover 5

Step 2: Think about the hallmarks of a nightmare.

Step 3: Spend some time with the C6/9 chord. The notes are C E G A D. (In other words: the root, major third, perfect fifth, major sixth, and major ninth.)

Step 4: Create a piece of music that begins with the hallmarks of a nightmare and then gradually transforms into a more positive piece through the use of piano chord C6/9.

Earlier this year, I finished a full music album under the name/moniker Rescinder titled 'Hymns from the Bloodroot Valley,' an ode to my past and the values and experiences that have shaped and guided me. It was constructed from musical sketches, field recordings, and audio samples that I made and collected between 2012 and 2021 (a long time to have an idea of an album stewing in my head). The recordings were made mostly in Staten Island, NY but some are from pretty far-flung places. There are no verses or lyrics, but there are guitars, muffled dialogues, and lots of windchimes; it's the soundtrack to a journey to which I hope many can relate in some way. I'm really proud to share it online now since creating a music album has always been life goal of mine. Please enjoy! Feel free to stream it on YouTube or visit Bandcamp for more production details and options:

Celebration Guns - "Existential Love Song"

FFO - twinkle/emo/math rock

After my divorce, I was single without much of an attempt at dating for acouple of years. I didn’t expect to find love ever again and spent time trying to be okay with being with myself. A lot of that time involved a lot of “existential” thinking, i.e. why am i here and what is the purpose? Combined with a depression diagnosis, it all sent me down a path where life felt a bit meaningless and like it’s never going to change. Unexpectedly, I reconnected with someone I’ve known for many years and realized she was my person and that finding love again was possible. I truly feel that allowing myself to use time alone to learn how to accept myself was necessary before being able to be a good partner to someone else

This is a fun one! "Enter the Shark Ninja" is a homage to all the glorious 80s Ninja-Action-Flicks! Enjoy, but beware: Only a Ninja can eliminate a Ninja :)

The Track was built in FL Studio 20 with the Softsynths U NO LX from TAL Software, Memorymode and DCO-106 from Cherry Audio. I used the Lifeline Console from Excite Audio for the very first time in this track. The Delays and Reverbs were constructed with ValhallaDelay and ValhallaVintageVerb. The song was mastered with Ozone 10 from iZotope and the ProQ3 from FabFilter.

What do you think?
