"We" are Casper Bradfield and Western Fading, though this is just my own account. We've been writing experimental rock together for over a decade, but have only been an official trio for two years. We are quite proud of being the weirdest rockbums in West, Texas.

This is the first track off our first full album after a couple years of exploring our sound in EPs.

Hi! I'm new to this community, I'm a songwriter and musician from the south of Chile.

I would be thrilled if you heard my new and first single "Mr. Sun", an indie rock

track that has some raw vocals, and chill guitars with a significant RHCP influence, and the overall sound is based on many Australian bands like Lime Cordiale, Sticky Fingers, Daily J, and many others cause I love that vibe.

You can find me on https://www.instagram.com/diddy2k00/ too

Just released my new instrumental concept album called "Abiogenesis". It's a 26-minute suite divided into 8 parts. As it’s a concept album, I highly recommend to listen to the entire suite sequentially (not on shuffle) at least once. For fans of: rock, prog-rock, fusion.

Enphin - Perpetual Night
from the album 'End Cut' [2022]

One of the most easy access pieces from the album described as post-krautrock, ulverian neo-new wave and psychedelic doom.

Enphin is Finnish four-piece earlier known as Mr. Peter Hayden, PH or just by their PH-monogram insignia. Read more...

"The Scandinavian four-piece have exhibited a great deal of sonic experimentation, achieving a unique interdimensional sound."

Everything is Noise

"It's the type of doom that doesn't outright crush you, but instead lures you so far into the void that by the end, you're not sure which way is out… and you're never going to."

Metal Injection

"What Enphin have accomplished here, this unsettling erudite entry into their storied oeuvre goes beyond mere influences, however storied, into a perfectly nightmarish stratosphere."

Veil of Sound

"Although today the band is more song-driven and makes shorter songs, its music remains hard to digest. In fact, it feels like the band has reached some kind of creative apex, whose results are diverse, colorful and always in motion."
Inferno Magazine

"The four-piece bounce through moods and styles with out-there post-krautrock futurism and a Ulverian neo-New Wave atmosphere, progressive in construction and primal in much of the underlying rhythm despite the elaborate and well-mixed layers surrounding... Suffice it to say that anywhere Enphin go, they establish a claim on their territory that speaks to the members’ extensive history in trying something new, finding what works, and then using it to swallow listeners whole.”

I have a youtube channel where I post some music, though things kinda broke down in October. That said, I plan to release one, or hopefully even a few Christmas songs in december.

I'm currently limited to using the piano roll in FL Studio, but I plan to learn how to play Keytar once I get the chance. There are a few low-effort things, like 10 minute versions of a couple of my pieces, which I posted for the sake of keeping up with a deadline I'd set for myself, so here are links to some of my pieces that are actually worth checking out.

[E.G. Phillips - "Chained to the Sun (Slow and Bluesy"\]\(https://songwhip.com/egphillips/chained-to-the-sun-slow-and-bluesy)

This is an alternate version of a song I just released -- the "original" was released back in June and this included on an EP released in October. I always felt the song worked in both a "fast" and "slow" mode so I asked my producer to just treat it as two different tracks. For this one, it takes a slower, bluesier pace — necessitating chopping down the lyrics a tad. Also some gospel-y vocals come in on the second verse, provided by Americana artist ArtmesiaBlack.

Would b curious to how people would classify it genre wise and who they would compare it to.

This is an emotive electronic track with a cinematic feel. It has elements of breakbeat, garage, and DnB and vocals.

Minev - Set Me Free

A little background on what inspired the song... I spent my younger years feeling full of life, promise, and positivity. Over time these feelings have become buried beneath layers of life’s doubts and fears. I made this song to serve as a companion for me and for anyone else who feels like they are on a journey of re-discovering themselves.

I'm new to music creation, created a song a little over a year ago and been learning ever since. Love it. This is what I have so far, I would like to add lyrics to this but I think I may need to learn much more before I can make it to that point. I wanted to share this everywhere I can in hopes to get the reach to start building a community. If you enjoy this, try to share it with someone who you think will enjoy it as well.

The void is depicting the decent into nothingness, devouring our hopes and dreams until there is nothing left. I would like to create my next song to convey the message that we can come back from the nothingness, born again if you will.

I'm VibrantCAThode and I make electronic music (the posted track is electronic), and made a cool song today that I'm particularly proud of! It's semi-thematic with some of the more recent songs on my soundcloud, describing in sound the destruction and rebirth of a universe - or, in essence, the collapse and rebirth of the 'inner self', depending on which way you perceive it.

A fun little concept album I'm working on, and that song is my favorite by far from it. Hope it's enjoyed!

This particular track is a pure experiment, I was recording my acoustic piano, using some mechanical rubber mutes for a different project, and did this take just for me as a test. I didn't know what to do with it, and abandoned. Then, I overdubbed many different instruments over the past few months, an upright bass+acoustic drums rhythm section, an unexpected old-schools synth. Later I added an orchestral section.

There's a lot of work on this track but still I don't know where it's going nor what was i attempting when I started it. An experiment, a true one.

Composed and performed by DD (june/july/september 2022)

  • Upright piano
  • synthesizers
  • upright bass
  • orchestral (strings) samples
  • acoustic drums

Indie Pop/Rock song I released last month. This is the first song I've ever written and released after nearly a decade as an audio engineer spent working on music made by others. I produced, recorded, mixed, mastered and wrote everything other than vocals and drums (those are done by the one other person helping me with the project so far)

The song is about the singer's real genetic condition known as Situs Inversus Totalis in which his internal organs are mirrored in placement.
